Kindergarten

On the 5th of June, 2005 the Zurich population, with a good 70 percent, clearly agreed to the new school law. Within this school law much was revised and adapted for the elementary school based on the needs of today's society. These changes also derive from many reform elements having been tested and trialled during the last years.
The kindergarten is therefore, as of January 1st, 2008, officially a part of the Canton’s educational system and is now compulsory for the 2008/2009 academic year. Private kindergartens like all private schools are now liable for approval. Tandem Pre-School has been involved in these procedures for several months, is in close contact with the educational department. We have the approvals for all three kindergarten.
